Brother’s business devices have a 'Remote Panel' solution that enables your IT department or IT service provider to remotely troubleshoot print device issues. The control panel of the printing device can be operated remotely from the comfort of your IT providers desktop PC.

'Remote Panel' operates in real-time, offering a complete interactive interface to your printing device. Your IT provider can access the full functionality of your printer, including maintenance mode to quickly diagnose and resolve any issues and enable settings to be changed as if they were physically standing at the printer.

Remote Panel will only work with compatible devices activated with this feature. A licence key is required to activate Brother Services which is available for the following devices:

To simplify usage of the 'Remote Panel', a remote desktop access solution is required.

Yes. The virtual representation of a machine’s LCD touchscreen is controlled virtually in a web browser from a remote location using encrypted SSL communication once authentication by the user has been given directly from the device's physical control panel.

Once acceptance of the 'Remote Panel' is given by the user, an IT technician can then access all the LCD touchscreen and panel button features along with maintenance modes.
