Brother launches MAXIDRIVE durable printing technology resulting in their “fastest print speed ever”

MAXIDRIVE, Brother’s brand-new patented inkjet technology is set to dramatically improve print speed and quality in our inkjet printing line-up.

Brother has announced that our new inkjet machines, that were launched in the beginning of April 2022 will come equipped with MAXIDRIVE, our next generation inkjet printing technology giving users market leading high-power printing.

Yoshitsugu Morita, Executive Engineer at Brother Industries, Ltd, and part of the team that designed MAXIDRIVE, commented on the new technology:

“Brother’s patented MAXIDRIVE print chip utilises a unique dual transformational piezoelectric system that emits ink at high power. The chip works by injecting the right amount of ink in a shorter space of time, allowing for Brother’s fastest print speed ever. The chip also makes machines more durable, allowing for up to 200% more printouts*, giving users a high performance eco-conscious machine.

“This technology is so unique in its print speed and durability due to the synergistic effect of the dual transformational piezo system and the very thin chip we have created. This exciting new technology is a huge step for us at Brother, and the printing sector on the whole.”

MAXIDRIVE will increase Brother print speeds by up to 150%*, while also improving print quality and machine durability.
