Brother wins four new awards for four printers and a scanner

The demanding testers from Buyers Lab International have selected colour laser printers, inkjet printers for business and compact scanners from Brother for their exceptional quality and great prices.

Over the course of a year, Brother’s products participate in many tests, trials and comparisons in laboratories worldwide. One such test has just identified four of Brother’s printers and a scanner as the best on the market.

Brother is delighted at these accolades. They come from Buyers Lab International (BLI) and are very difficult to achieve.

BLI sends all products out for two months of long and extremely demanding testing, during which the products are exposed to extreme stress. These are similar to the types of environment the products will experience in busy offices and workplaces.

Buyers Lab awards prizes twice a year, and Brother have just taken the first places for four printers and a scanner in BLI’s Winter 2019 Pick Awards.

The winning products come from Brother’s latest LED series, the professional A3 inkjet series, and also include Brother’s compact ADS-1700W document scanner.

Colour printing for smaller offices

Buyers Lab uses the expression “Big Value for Low Volume Users” when their testers gave out awards for “Outstanding Quality” in the categories for printers and all-in-one printers that are suitable for smaller companies and home offices (SoHo).

Brother took the prizes, among other things, for the two LED colour printers, HL-L3270CDW and MFC-L3750CDW, which are also popular among Danish customers.

“Despite their low price and compact design, the Brother colour printers we tested proved to incorporate lots of good, practical features. This is true, for example, of Brother’s Web Connect, which lets users choose from many different cloud services to print from,” writes BLI in its judgement.

All-in-one inkjet

Two of Brother’s professional A3 all-in-one inkjet printers landed BLI awards in their categories.

The Brother MFC-J6945DW and MFC-J6947DW impressed testers with their reliability and printing and scanning speeds. BLI wrote in its report:

“The Brother MFC-J6945DW proved to be a strong all-in-one inkjet printer for small workgroups – and at a budget-friendly price. It is easy to use and fast, and it can keep on working for very long periods without errors and interruptions. We had the Brother printer we tested complete a 30,000 page print assignment.”

BLI tested three other Brother printers in the same series and gave them top marks for reliability and speed of operation. These were the Brother MFC-J5945DW, HL-J6000DW and HL-J6100DW.

Compact scanner

Brother’s compact, wireless ADS-1700W was chosen as an “outstanding portable scanner” after the testers at Buyers Lab had thoroughly examined it and assessed it for efficiency, software compatibility, wireless connections, mobility and user friendliness.

ADS-1700W costs DKK 2,399 excluding VAT (DKK 2,998.75 kr. including VAT)
