The new Brother label printer can print in all the colours of the rainbow

Brother’s new ground-breaking VC-500W label printer prints attractive labels, name tags and gift tags in all the colours of the rainbow - without any need of ink. It uses ZINK technology, where colours appear due to thermal impact of colour crystals in the corresponding label rolls.

Labels and name badges are no longer what they used to be. Now they need colour. Photos, logos, emojis, symbols and text need to be in happy colours. Old labels with black text on boring white background are a thing of the past.

The revolution is delivered by Brother and the new VC-500W label printer. Here comes the first colour label printer in this price range that prints without any need of ink. Therefore, you need not buy and replace ink cartridges at intervals. Simply buy the special CZ continuous label rolls.

ZINK technology is already known from small photo printers, which a number of Japanese and American photo and smartphone manufacturers have launched.

Brother goes in a completely different direction with their VC-500W label printer. It uses CZ rolls, available in five different widths, so you can produce their labels and brands in exactly the size that is needed. The print widths are 9, 12, 19, 25 and 50 mm.

The rolls are five meters long, which allows for printing quite a few name badges, indoor references, labels for folders, etc. from the same roll. In addition, labels can be printed up to 40 centimetres in length if needed.

Brother VC-500W can be connected via USB and Wi-Fi. In the office, the printer can typically be used with a PC and Brother P-touch Editor software.

If you use the smart label printer at home, you can create your own designs using the free Colour Label Editor app on your mobile phone or tablet. The app is available for both iPhone / iPad and Android.

Brother has made a great effort to make the VC-500W label printer as user-friendly as possible for everyone.

It is easy to design your own beautiful labels with differently coloured backgrounds and fonts, import photos and logos for name badges, or provide labels with red warning symbols, if they, for example, must be used for warning signs.

Brother VC-500W automatically announces when it's time to replace the label roll. If you use either the app or the Editor application on your PC, you will be able to see on the screen, how much of the roll has been used and how much remains.

The new VC-500W is so versatile and user-friendly that it appeals to both companies and organizations as well as individuals. Everyone can enjoy designing and printing personalized and custom-made labels for a variety of purposes.

For example, the obvious work areas for the VC-500W would be production of guest badges for company visitors or participants in conferences and exhibitions. Or the labelling of food, medicine, office folders, or for indoor signage on doors or walls, etc.

Brother VC-500W uses direct thermal printing according to the ZINK principle. The print speed is 8 mm per second, the resolution is 313 dots per. inch (dpi), and labels can be printed in five different widths.

VC-500W is available at Brothers many dealers across the country. Indicative selling price is be 1,399 DKK excl. VAT or 1,749 DKK incl. VAT. The label printer comes with a CZ label roll, a cleaning cassette, USB cable and AC-adapter.
