Mono laser printers are still a big deal

Brother presents a new family of compact mono laser printers and all-in-one printers aimed at SMBs and the home office. The family consists of 10 models that suit all needs and budgets.

In a time where most think in colour it seems that there is still a big market for mono laser printers. Especially in the SOHO market, that is small offices and homes.

Many have realized that it is more cost effective to use mono laser printers to print text pages in black and white. For instance, when printing invoices and financial statements in small companies – or when you want a print of a school essay, school reports or the household spreadsheet.

Brother is market leader in smaller mono laser printers and sale is going very well. The laser printers are hardworking and print fast and effectively for hours without any problems.

Brother’s new L2000 family of mono laser printers for the SOHO market consist of 10 models – four printers and six all in one machines that also scan, copy - and some even fax.

Therefore, there is a mono laser printer for everyone, to match your exact wishes and requirements. And at a price that will never compromise your budget. On the contrary, many will find that their print cost will go down.

Small and eco-friendly – at a good price

” We have great expectations for the new mono laser printers. There is something for everyone and we can sell them at very good prices. They will soon prove indispensable in the home office as well as in the companies,” says Henning Elkjær, Nordic Marketing Director & Sales Director (Denmark) for Brother Nordic A/S.

The new printers and all in ones are small and user-friendly. At the same time, they are very quiet. With only 48 or 49 dB they stay below the limit of 50 dB which the American Department of Labour has set as a requirement for a ”quiet office”.

As always with Brother printers - these new models live up to the strict demands of eco-friendliness with low power consumption, recycling of toner cartridges, low sound and reusable materials.

The 10 printers and all in one printer are therefore equipped with eco-labels such as the Nordic Swan, the German Blauer Engel and the international Energy Star.

And then the technical details

All 10 new printers from Brother’s L2000 family have automatic duplex printing and you can choose between models with print speeds of 30 or 34 pages per minute. They come with toner for 700 or 1,200 pages, depending on the model.

Most models are compatible with Brother’s free iPrint&Scan app, so you can print to and scan from iPhone/iPads or Android smartphones and tablets. You can also use Apple AirPrint or Google Cloud Print to print directly from the internet.

Finally, the two largest members of the family MFC-L2730DW and MFC-L2750DW are equipped with Brother’s advanced Web Connect technology. It gives access to communication directly from the printer to internet based solutions such as for instance Microsoft OneDrive and OneNote, Dropbox, Evernote or Google Drive.

The new Brother printers are designed to be user-friendly and compact, so they can find a place in all offices without dominating the interior design. The printers are 411 x 398 x 272 mm. All in one printers are slightly larger, because they have more tasks to perform. They are 410 x 399 x 319 mm.

Prices and delivery
Brothers many Danish dealers can supply the 10 new mono laser printers from the end of January 2018.

Brother HL-2310D mono printer with USB plugk, 32 MB RAM, prints 30 pages per minute, paper tray for 250 sheets and comes with toner for 700 pages. It costs DKK 639 ex VAT (DKK 799 incl. VAT).

HL-2350DW has wireless network and 64 GB RAM. The price is DKK 799 ex VAT (DKK 999 incl. VAT).

HL-2370DN prints 34 pages per minute, has USB plug and wired network as well as built-in PCL6 and PostScript. Price DKK 959 ex VAT (DKK 1,199 incl. VAT).

HL-L2375DW is the top model of mono printers and comes with toner for 1,200 pages and has USB plug, wired and wireless network. It is DKK 1,039 ex VAT (DKK 1.299 incl. VAT).

Brother DCP-L2510D all in one printer can print, copy in mono and scan in colour. It has 64 MB RAM memory, USB connectivity and a print speed of 30 pages per minute. The price is DKK 879 ex VAT (DKK 1,099 incl. VAT).

DCP-L2530DW has the same specs as DCP-L2510D and wireless network. The price is DKK 999 ex VAT (DKK 1,249 incl. VAT).

DCP-L2550DN prints 34 pages per minute. It has 128 MB RAM, automatic document feeder, PCL6, PostScript, USB and wired network. It comes with a large toner for 1,200 pages. The price is DKK 1.199 ex VAT (DKK 1,499 incl. VAT).

Brother’s new MFC-L2710DW all in one model has print, scan, copy and fax. It prints 30 pages per minute, has automatic document feeder, wired and wireless network plus USB connectivity. The versatile new comer will cost DKK 1,199 ex VAT (DKK 1,499 incl. VAT).

MFC-L2730DW prints 34 pages per minute and has wired network and USB connectivity plus Wi-Fi, PCL6 and PostScript, 128 MB RAM, comes with a large toner for 1,200 pages and is operated via a 6,8-cm touchscreen. Furthermore, the all in one printer is compatible with Brother’s Web Connect. Here the price is DKK 1,599 ex VAT (DKK 1,999 incl. VAT).

Finally, there is the MFC-L2750DW top model with the same specs as MFC-L2730DW and 256 MB RAM plus wireless NFC technology to print directly from a smartphone that is swiped on the printer. Price DKK 1,999 ex VAT (DKK 2,499 incl. VAT).
