Previous Pick Award winning tech makes life simple for SMBs in a digital world

In 2014, Brother’s Web Connect technology received a prestigious Pick Award, the ‘Oscars’ of the print industry, the renowned Buyers Lab marked the function out for recognition with the Outstanding Achievement in Innovation accolade.

Web Connect was introduced to optimise the use of the cloud for customers – creating the facility to directly print from, and scan to, a clutch of cloud storage services

Featured in both inkjet and laser ranges alongside scanner line-ups, Web Connect has enabled Brother devices to connect directly to the internet making them compatible with web services including: OneDrive, One Drive for Business, Box, Dropbox, Evernote, Google Drive and OneNote.

As a formerly award-winning function, in a relatively short space of time it has become de facto technology in Brother’s three-in-ones and all-in-ones. As long as a device has a network connection and a colour interface - Web Connect is present and is there to make life simple for SMBs.

Web Connect provides the perfect technology for businesses to digitise their professional documents including invoices, statements and important correspondence so they can go as paper free as possible.

Web Connect can even produce searchable pdfs and editable office documents which means the user can search for content specifics not just file names thanks to Optical Character Recognition.
It is not just text from invoices or letters that can be digitised and turned into searchable documents, designed brochures or manuals can also be digitised without compromising the designed elements.

Web Connect technology is, as you would expect, embedded in our latest inkjet and laser line ups, including our mono and colour ranges, as well as on scanner ranges.
