Brother launches two new top-class scanners for busy offices

Brother ADS-2100E and ADS-2600We make it easier and faster to prepare documents for scanning. At the same time, scanned images become more crisp. The two new Brother models aim at small and medium-sized companies.

Scanning of documents, articles, photos and drawings are among the ordinary everyday tasks in a busy office.

As (almost) all offices have switched to digital storage of papers and documents, a good scanner is quite indispensable.

Brother, which is usually best known for producing printers and all-in-one machines, clearly notice this.

Since Brother a few years ago launched its first desktop scanners, sales have continued to grow. And in order to introduce the most user-friendly and efficient scanners, Brother uses its many decades of experience in the manufacture of top-class printers.

Improve quality and save time
Two new scanners have just arrived at Brother’s many dealers across the country. Both designed for small and medium-sized businesses with busy offices.

As something new, both Brother ADS-2100E and ADS-2600We offer compatibility with Kofax VRS Elite 5.1.

Kofax is a US software company whose VirtualReScan Elite technology improves and optimises the image quality during scanning. The system also reduces the time for manual preparation of documents to be scanned.

Furthermore, the new Brother scanners come with improved scan-to-PC features, enhanced security and a large 50-sheet automatic document feeder that makes it easy to scan multiple pages.

Big Brother
ADS-2600We is the new top model among Brother’s desktop scanners. It is ideally suited for groups and teams, because access to functions and settings can be set individually for each user.

The scanners is operated via a large 9.3 cm touch display and works in both wired and wireless networks – and also completely independently, for that matter, without the need for connection to a PC.

Users can scan directly to email, FTP server or to cloud services on the internet, such as Google Docs® or Dropbox®.

Finally, the ADS-2600We is compatible with Brother BSI software interface. It enables third-party developers to build customised solutions or integrate Brother scanners into existing document management systems.

Little Brother
Brother ADS-2100E has fewer features than the larger ADS-2600We, but many of the basic specifications are identical for the two models.

Both new models can scan 24 A4 pages per minute or 48 images (ipm). Scanning is automatic from both sides of the papers. This saves time.

The scanning resolution is 1,200 x 1,200 dpi (interpolated) and 600 x 600 dpi (optical) if scanned from the ADF.

In keeping with tradition at Brother, the two new office scanners use less power than normal. Both scanners are ENERGY STAR certified.

Prices and availability
Brother's new ADS-2100E scanner typically costs DKK 2,499 ex VAT (DKK 3,124 incl. VAT).
The suggested retail price of the ADS 2600We is DKK 3,899 ex VAT (DKK 4,874 incl. VAT).
