Brother label printers first to support AirPrint™ capability - complemented by Air Label app

Brother has introduced the only office label printers that support Apple® AirPrint™ - alongside the development of its own innovative ‘Air Label’ app.

The print and technology specialist’s professional desktop label printers, the QL-710W and QL-720NW are the first to feature Apple® AirPrint wireless printing technology, reflecting Brother’s passion for creating forward-thinking products.

The two models, together with the bespoke Brother app, have created the perfect label printer to use with the iPhone®, iPad® and iPod touch®.

The addition of Apple® AirPrint™ is the second point of innovation that the sleek and stylish desktop label printers boast. They were the first office label printers in the world to include wireless functionality when launched in 2012.

The built-in wireless functionality allowed Brother to incorporate AirPrint™ capability to the QL-710W and QL-720NW feature line-up.

• AirPrint™ wireless printing allows users to print labels without the need to download software or install additional device drivers, creating a streamlined process for users who need to print on demand from Apple® mobile devices.
• The feature also creates opportunities for app developers to easily add direct label printing support to their iOS applications, or create bespoke labeling apps for their users.
• Brother’s Air Label app allows the simple creation of labels and is available from the Apple App Store.

The two models also feature PC and Mac label design software that allow users to print professional labels for a range of uses throughout the workplace and are the fastest models of their type on the market, printing up to 93 standard address labels per minute.
