The files can be stored in the scanner's own memory and then transmitted to a PC or tablet via Wi-Fi. The battery-powered scanner weighs only 530 grams and is ideal for e.g. sales and service staff, police and others working in the field. The new Brother model costs DKK 1,449 ex VAT. Brother has success with not only its popular all-in-one printers used by the industry, the public sector and many private individuals. More specialised Brother products such as mobile scanners and printers are going like hot cakes, too. The latest novelty in mobile scanners is the DS-920DW, which is also the most advanced portable Brother scanner to date. Many sales and service people use mobile scanners, but is also ideal for e.g. real estate agents, lawyers, accountants, etc., who need to scan documents while working in the field – for example with a customer or a client. Furthermore, mobile scanners can be useful to various authorities when scanning images from documents or plastic cards for personal ID, driving license, etc. Brother DS-920DW is super flexible Brother’s family of mobile scanners includes four members of which the new DS-920DW is the most advanced and flexible. The DS-920DW is powered either by a rechargeable battery or via USB connection. You can scan 2-sided documents at speeds up to 7.5 colour pages per minute, which saves a lot of time. The scanned documents can be stored in the actual DS-920DW device. It comes with a MicroSD memory card of 4GB, which is replaceable with cards of greater capacity. Subsequently, the documents can be transmitted wirelessly via Wi-Fi to a PC. You can also scan directly to your PC. It only requires that you connect the scanner to the PC via the USB cable. The 530g light scanner is operated via an LCD display and a manageable control panel. In addition, the included software provides good opportunities to fine-tune your scans.
