Brother launches new scanner range for advanced users 17 feb. 2016 12 sep. 2022 The new family of desktop scanners from Brother can be purchased at very attractive prices. The scanners are hearty workhorses for small and medium-sized companies. The first model is Brother ADS-3000N, which has a scanning speed of 50 pages per minute and runs via wired network and USB 3.0. Printer specialist Brother has got a good hold on the scanner market and, therefore, expanded its range with four new mid-range desktop models. They are targeting small and medium-sized businesses that often need to scan documents and images – and preferably multiple pages at a time. These kinds of requirements are common in e.g. finance departments, in receptions for scanning the daily mail, in busy warehouses, or in government offices for scanning personal papers documents. Fast and hearty workhorse The first of Brother’s new desktop scanners to be launched on the Danish market is the ADS-3000N. It is a real toiler with focus on giving the owner a maximum value of scanning speed and reliability, The scanner can process as much as 50 pages per minute and accepts media with paper thicknesses from 40 to 413g. Moreover, the ADS-3000N accepts up to 1.4mm thick plastic making this new Brother model ideal for scanning e.g. ID cards. Brother ADS-3000N is designed to work in wired network and/or with the new fast USB 3.0 standard in connection with computers and laptops. In any case, for applications, that requires a certain speed – and a large number of papers are being scanned every day. In addition, the high processing speed is emphasised by the fact that you can scan to many different recipients in a network without the need for logging into a central PC. This increases efficiency and saves costs because there is no need to install special software on each computer that receives scans from an ADS-3000N in the network. Like any other Brother printer, scanner, telefax or all in one, this new ADS-3000N was designed to have an exceptionally low power consumption. Thus, the scanner meets the latest ENERGY STAR requirements. The new Brother ADS-3000N scanner will be available at Brother’s many dealers from March.
