Brother Signs Partnership Agreement for the Asian Games and Asian Para Games

Brother Industries, Ltd. Has announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games and Asian Para Games Organizing Committee, a public interest incorporated foundation, for the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 and the 5th Asian Para Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026.

Among Brother's Spirit of Foundation is the intention to "Develop the import-based industry into the export-based industry." Overseas sales currently account for over 80% of the entire Group's revenue, and this began in 1947 with the export of 200 home sewing machines to Shanghai. Since then, Asia has played a vital role for Brother not only in sales but also in production and development. 

Employees working in Asia outside of Japan account for over 60% of the Group's total workforce. This shared growth with Asia, combined with the fact that the events will be held in Nagoya, Aichi—the birthplace of Brother—were major reasons for signing the partnership agreement for the Asian Games and Asian Para Games.

Based on the spirit of being "At your side.", Brother hopes to contribute to the local community by supporting athletes' exciting competitions as an official supplier, conveying the appeal of sports to a wide audience while energizing the events.

 As an official supplier, Brother will supply its stationary spot cooler "PD-7100F" throughout the venue.

In recent years, alongside record-breaking heatwaves, the ordinance on workplace heatstroke countermeasures issued by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare came into effect on June 1, 2025, making heat countermeasures at work sites increasingly important. The PD-7100 series environmentally friendly spot cooler, which achieves exhaust-heat-free operation* with a CFC-free design, employs Brother's proprietary evaporative cooling technology.

By supplying the stationary spot cooler "PD-7100F" as an official supplied product for these events, Brother will contribute to heatstroke countermeasures for athletes and staff, supporting safe and comfortable event operations.

 PureDrive is an innovative spot cooler that achieves exhaust-heat-free operation* with a CFC-free design.

It can be easily used in a variety of locations, including warehouses, work sites, offices, and event venues. It employs Brother's proprietary two-stage evaporative cooling technology, "TwinAqua," generating only powerful and comfortable airflow without expelling hot exhaust air.

Furthermore, since it uses no refrigerants, there is no need for CFC management. Its energy-saving design also contributes to reducing CO2 emissions, making it an environmentally friendly product.
